MASS for the SEA

The work is based on the wind rose into which I have integrated the circle of fifths. I rotated the circle of fifths so that C is replaced by Ab, aligning with Earth's tone (known as the Breathing Mode), reflecting Earth's pulsation—perfect symmetry with 10 minutes of expansion and 10 minutes of contraction, spanning months in practice.

This information comes from seismologist Bo Holm Jacobsen, Aarhus University. The harmonic structure of the four choral pieces is derived from the date and year of the St. George shipwreck: December 24, 1811.

These four choral pieces for Ung Klang are part of the main work Drawn to the Deep, set to be released in 2025.
